Why Do Chickens Cluck? and Other Chicken Questions
Why Do Chickens Cluck? -Meredith D.
Chickens don't cluck- they buck. Well, that's what it sounds like when I wake up in the morning. They usually buck around the clock. When the birds are in danger- they buck super-loud, and let us know when trouble is around.
Does The Color Of The Eggs Matter? - Natalie M.
The color of the eggs does not matter- it is simply the type of breed that has that color. They come in all different colors. The color of the egg yolks is the same color of the beak of the chicken!!!

Is taking care of chickens really hard because my sister and I really want some but my parents (Mainly my dad because he grew up on a farm) say it is really hard to take care of them and take after them, is this true?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on how much you plan on spoiling your chickens. The more you spoil, the harder! But, if you have a dog, than it is less work than that, but slightly more than a cat. My sister and I wanted a pet and Mom gave in, they're consideringly easy! Mom loves pets that "give back" and is happy with them! You should totally get chickens!
ReplyDeleteI found it interesting that the type of breed has different egg colors. I learned that chickens BUCK NOT CLUCK! I learned that chickens can not have avocados. Related to your point of view because chickens are pretty. I wanted to know about what chickens eat! (BTW) HI GRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's cool that the yolks of eggs are the same color of the beak of the chicken they came from! I also didn't know that chickens are always clucking /bucking. I DID know that the color of the egg doesn't matter. do you know why chickens are always clucking/bucking?
ReplyDeleteI do not! I just observe them. BTW they don't talk in their sleep, thank god.
